Elizabeth is originally from New Zealand where her interest in art developed through an inspirational teacher and sculptor who encouraged her to go to art school where she gained a fine arts degree. Following career paths in music, film-making and a few ‘proper jobs’ Elizabeth was lucky enough to be able to jump off the treadmill, reconnect with art and the wonders of sculpture. In 2024 she relocated from Surrey to Herefordshire where she now creates and casts limited edition sculptures in her studio near Ross-on-Wye. Elizabeth’s sculpture is mainly abstract with a sprinkle of realism – blending the angular, the curvaceous and the spaces they contain or become.  She is particularly focused on giving shape to female experience; finding new ways of expressing the female form. Playful creations of cats sometimes find their way out of her studio too!
