Piotr Gargas

Piotr Gargas is a sculptor and stone carver based in Oxfordshire, known for blending traditional stone-carving craftsmanship with contemporary digital design. His artistic journey began in Poland, where he completed a five-year sculptural training focused on classical techniques and the study of historical forms. After graduating, he spent nearly a decade restoring decorative stonework in historic buildings across Europe, refining his precision, sensitivity to form, and deep understanding of natural materials.

Upon settling in Oxfordshire, Gargas established his own studio and began developing a distinctive sculptural language. His works combine organic movement, clean lines, and subtle dynamism, often drawing inspiration from nature, flow, and the inherent expressiveness of stone. Using modern 3D design tools, he creates digitally conceived forms that he later brings to life in marble, stone, or wood, balancing innovation with a respect for traditional craftsmanship.

Today, his sculptures can be found in private collections both in the UK and internationally.
