Weaving with Waste by Lizzie Hill
15th September 2026, 2 pm – 4 pm, £25.00

In this workshop Lizzie will teach participants how to weave a simple piece of tapestry from a range of interesting materials. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided.
Make your Own Temari Balls with Jenny Waller
19th September 2026, 10 am – 1 pm, £5.00
In this workshop we’ll explore the traditional art of Temari ball making. Originally children’s toys made from old socks, now they are treasured gifts symbolising friendship and good luck. We will start by wrapping a polystyrene ball with wool and thread to create a smooth surface before mapping out your design with pins and using embroidery thread to weave your pattern. You’ll be guided by exhibiting artist, Jenny Waller. Teens and adults welcome.
