My work is made using repurposed, found and scavenged materials.  The starting point or inspiration usually comes from an individual item or items that I have been drawn to in my every day to-ings and fro-ings.  Each piece is created by adding and removing materials, until the narrative reaches its natural conclusion. The time involved in reaching this point can vary from hours to months.

My approach to creativity is initially playful, but the finished pieces often evoke a deeper level of sensitivity and movement.

It is this combination that I hope draws the viewer in and allows them to connect with each piece on an individual level.
