I’ve always been artistic, be it drawing or sculpture, from a young age when my parents allowed me to pencil murals onto my bedroom wall!

At University. My ‘Sporting Wednesdays’ were actually spent sculpting at Sydney Place in Bath working in wax, clay and Plaster of Paris to produce bronze sculptures using scrap bronze from the local scrap metal works.

Kids, career, life and lack of opportunity took over and I turned to photography to express my artistic creativity until 2022 when the family gave me a bronze taster course for Xmas. Retired from work as a landscape architect and reinvigorated with time for art, I’m now starting to get back into sculpture and, having been inspired by the Creating Spaces Miserden exhibitions, this seemed a good time to reengage with the world of sculpting.
