I originally started carving via a course at New Brewery Arts in Cirencester. I thought it may be a skill that could compliment my work as a dry stone waller. A decade on and I now carve from my own studio on the edge of Cotswold Water Park. Through my sculpture I try to capture natural shapes and movement in abstract form. 

I find carving and handling stone to be a very absorbing and cathartic activity and I will actively work this tactile element into the forms, so please touch….
